오늘은 부담스러운 숫자 영어를 쉽게 읽는 법에 대해 간단히 끄적여 볼게요.
#영어 숫자 읽는 법 |
1. 수를 읽으실 때 세 자리마다 끊어서, billion, million, thousand, hundred 을 붙이시고,
세 자리씩 묶어서 맨 끝을 and로 연결해 주시면 돼요.
321 은 three hudred and twenty-one으로 읽잖아요
그럼 654,321은?
= six hundred fifty-four thousand, three hudred and twenty-one로 읽어요.
자, 아래의 수를 영어로 한번 읽어보세요.
987,654,321
= nine hundred eighty-seven million, six hundred fifty-four thousand, three hudred and twenty-one.

2. 한국 돈과 달러를 읽으실 때, 한국 돈에는 0 세개를 붙이시고, 달러에는 0 세개를 빼시면 돼요
1달러를 대충 천 원이라고 가정하고요
1,000 won = 1 dollar
10,000 = 10 dollars
100,000 = 100 dollars
